Need an award for an upcoming grad? This set includes 2 sizes, both with space to add a quote or congratulations. You can make it a single layer or multilayer, use wood, acrylic, or a mixture, and finish it however you like. Learn more under the Project Details tab above.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

There are several options available to you when making these designs.

1. You can make it as a single vertical piece that you engrave the year and your text content.
2. You could also cut the year out and glue it to the vertical piece and engrave your content.
3. Yet another option would be to cut the year out and cut a clear or translucent piece of acrylic and engrave your content on it.
4. As you see in the pictures, I also cut out a name and added a slot in the bases for it to sit in front of the other layers. While I can't include a name for you, you can always add it and a slot yourself as well.
5. The original design is for a double or triple layered base. You can choose various materials to give it the look you want.

Details about the base options:

• The tab length is 0.24" and the base design is made for at least (2) 1/8" layers. I include a 3rd layer that's the same size as the top base layer and is intended to be glued on the bottom to give it a floating appearance. The bottom also covers the visible tabs, giving it a cleaner finish. 
• Another option for the 3rd base layer would be to cut the middle layer twice, but omitting the slot the second time, giving you a solid bottom covering the visible slot.
• If you'd like the base to be a single layer, be sure to shorten the tab to match your material thickness.
