2024 2025 Grad Hat Photo Frame Award (2 Sizes)

This set includes versions that hold a 2x3 photo or a 3.5x5 photo - and, of course, 2024 and 2025 options. There's also options with and without the extra space on the right side for text, a logo, etc. Click the Project Details tab above to learn more.

NOTES:

• All of the files are made for 1/8" material. 
• There are 3 versions for each size: With and without the text extension to the right and without a year.
• Slot size is 0.116". You'll edit it for your specific material and desired fit.
• If you're not using my free Slot Sizer, you should be! https://bigbluelaserdesigns.com/products/slot-sizer 
• There's a solid rounded rectangle included in all of the files that I glued on the bottom to both cover the slot in the layer above it and also to raise the award slightly to give it a floating look. You can leave that rectangle out if you wish.
• Use any material and combination you like! I'll be making another version using green glass acrylic for the layer with the extension for the text and engraving it on the back so it's really nice from the front. So many possibilities!

MEASUREMENTS:

• The 3.5" x 5" photo version:
  6.4" x 9.14" without extension, 8.67" x 9.14" with extension
• The 2" x 3" photo version:
  4.05" x 6.01" without extension, 5.77" x 6.01" with extension

MATERIAL I USED:

• We made several versions, but all were made with 1/8" material.
• Pictured are MDF versions as well as one with Pre-Finished wood from LaserWoodSupplies.com. 
• ALWAYS measure your material with calipers and edit the slots if needed prior to cutting.

AMOUNT OF MATERIAL NEEDED: 

• Less than 1 sheet of 11" x 19" material for both sizes. The 2"x3" photo size version is less than 1/2 sheet
