Tumbler Display Shelf (2 Versions)

 This shelf design is perfect for displaying things like tumblers. Each shelf is 5.3" high, allowing a clear view of nearly an entire standard tumbler on each level. It'll hold an average of 4 tumblers per shelf for a total of 16 tumblers -- and of course you can display other things as well.

I made two versions to meet two different needs. The slightly shorter version (version 2) is perfect for those who want to use a bit less material. The first shelf is approx 2" shorter, allowing the shelf to be made with one less sheet of material. 

The bottom part on this one is a perfect place for text, pricing, or even a logo.

Version one has each shelf the same height and therefore takes one more sheet since the two side pieces cannot fit on a sheet together.

Version 1: 

• 16.1" tall x 10.5" deep x 16.3" wide
• Each level is 5.3" tall (equal height)
• This version takes 4 sheets of 11" x 19" material

Version 2:

• 14.4" tall x 10.5" deep x 16.3" wide
• The first level is 3.5" tall and the other 2 are 5.3" tall. This allows the project to be made with 3 sheets of 11" x 19" material instead of 4.

MATERIAL I USED:

• 1/4" MDF (Slot size: 0.24")
• Always measure your materials before cutting and edit slot sizes if needed.
• NOTE: I do not recommend using thinner materials like 1/8" because it will likely bow when items are set on the shelves.

AMOUNT OF MATERIAL NEEDED:

• Version 1 with the equal height shelves requires 4 sheets of 11" x 19" 1/4 material.
• Version 2 requires 3 sheets.
