These origami cranes and birds are so cute! My designer friend Michelle created them in multiple sizes and with and without hanging circles.

We envision them being used in all sorts of ways including sitting on a table or desk, sets of 2-3 hanging from one another, “suspended” in air on an acrylic stand, and more!

Project Details

The slots for the wings are sized for medium Proofgrade Draftboard from Glowforge, but you can easily adjust the slot for any material.

You can paint them wonderful colors like Michelle did (she used Apple Barrel paints) or leave them the natural material color.

I use LocTite GO2 glue for all of my projects.

All materials can vary in thickness, even those labeled the same from the same source. You must measure your material before cutting and adjust the file if necessary to fit your chosen material.
