I have great memories of speeding down a snow-covered hill on my rail runner sled! The ride was bumpy and I had very little steering ability. My face was frozen, but those few seconds of hurtling down that hill was exhilarating!

This layered "old fashioned sled" design will remind many of similar memories from their childhood. It's totally resizable, you can make it with any material, and it comes with "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" for you to add.

MEASUREMENTS:

  • ~13.7" x 8.9" -- but the design is 100% resizable with no adjustments needed!
  • TIP: The only parts that will tend to get hard to handle are the bolt heads. If you make the design significantly smaller, they will likely fall through your laser's crumb tray. 

 

MATERIALS I USED:

  • 1/4" MDF from SmokeyHillDesigns.com
  • Any material and any thickness can be used
  • I used LocTiteGO2 glue
  • I used Krylon Spray Paints

 

NOTES:

  • All black lines are cut and green lines are score.
