Square Gamer Themed Sign Set

Here's another fun sign set for the gamers in your life! The set includes 8 gamer-themed signs that are easy to customize with colors and the materials you use. They're ~10.75" square, but you can easily resize them to fit any space. And each sign includes options for a Playstation or Xbox style controller. Learn more under Project Details.

MATERIALS I USED:

• 1/8" MDF
• You can use any material you like!
• Rustoleum and Krylon Primer and Spray Paints
• LocTiteGO2 glue

AMOUNT OF MATERIALS USED:

• (1) sheet of 11"x 19" material per sign

NOTES:

• Black Lines = Cut, Red Lines = Score
• Each sign has a set of red lines that you'll score, making it easy to see where to place the text
• I hang the signs with a Command Strip or two.

TIPS:

• The Controller: To paint the buttons, I suggest one of two options:

1. Change the color of the lines for the buttons to a different color so that you can score all of them instead of cutting them out. Then you'll paint the entire controller the same color. --OR--
2. Cut all of the buttons out. Then stick them to a piece of painter's tape and spray paint them. The tape holds them still without blowing away from the spray.

• Painting: I use a gray spray primer. When dry, I lightly sand with a fine grit sandpaper (400+). Wipe off any dust and lightly prime again. When dry, sand lightly again. Then wipe off any dust and spray the color you want. Lightly sand and repeat if desired.
