Flame Awards

Need to create a unique award or inspiring quote? These flame-shaped designs may be just the thing! The files include 2 different flame shapes as well as bases made for a single clear acrylic flame or a double flame with an opaque back piece and a clear front piece!

Project Details

We even included a set for 1/8" material and 1/4" materials* (see details below).

>> DETAILS:

• Taller flame is 4.2"x7.5". Shorter is 4.7"x5.8".
• Base is 3.75" round.
• Materials I used: Glowforge Thick Clear Acrylic, Glowforge Medium Clear Acrylic, Glowforge Thick Orange Acrylic, and Glowforge Medium Purple Acrylic.

TIP: I recommend engraving on the back of acrylic and flipping your text/graphics backwards so that it's smooth and clean from the front. I think it looks far better this way!

IMPORTANT:
ALL MATERIALS CAN VARY IN THICKNESS FROM BATCH TO BATCH, so you will need to measure your materials and adjust the slots if needed. ALWAYS cut a test slot before doing the whole project.

I use LocTite GO2 glue for all of my projects.
