NOTE: THESE ARE ONLY FOR 3/8" DRIVES. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED FOR OTHER SIZES.

FILE FORMATS:

  • Ai
  • SVG
  • PDF
  • DXF

MEASUREMENTS:

  • 10" tall x 5" wide without the base. The base is 4" x 3.2".

MATERIAL I USED:

  • 1/4" MDF from www.smokeyhilldesigns.com
  • Krylon Metallic Spray Paints
  • Slot sizes are 0.2125 in.
  • ALWAYS measure your material with your calipers FIRST, then compare that to the slot size in the design and edit the slot sizes if needed.
  • I HIGHLY recommend 1/4" material and not 1/8" to ensure proper strength of the finished item.

NOTES:

  • File Notes: Engrave the Red lines, cut the Black

  • Although most socket sets don't include a 15/16ths or a 16mm, I included those slots too in case you have or someday get them.

    • Metric includes: 19mm 18mm 17mm 16mm 15mm 14mm 13mm 12mm 11mm 10mm 9mm 8mm

    • SAE includes: 1” 15/16” 7/8” 13/16” 3/4” 11/16” 5/8” 9/16” 1/2” 7/16” 3/8” 5/16” 1/4”

ASSEMBLY TIPS:

  • For wall hanging, attach and glue the 2 vertical support pieces to the 2 horizontal wall plate pieces first. When the glue dries completely, screw the wall plates to the wall using wall anchors. Then attach and glue the front plate to the vertical support pieces. Allow glue to dry for 24 hours before putting sockets into the organizer.
  • For wall hanging, the tighter the fit is with the slots and tabs, the stronger the overall hold will be to the wall mount. If your slots and tabs are loose, the glue will have to do all the work, so edit the slots to be as snug as you're comfortable with and then add glue.
  • Paint will add a slight thickness to the tabs and slots, so remember to account for that when editing your slots. I recommend that you paint your pieces BEFORE cutting the base or wall plates, Then when the glue dries, you can measure the tabs with your calipers and then make the slots for that thickness.
