This 3-layer "thankful" sign is one you'll love to make and love to display even more! Whether you choose to use natural contrasting woods, if you choose to paint or stain it, or if you use other materials like acrylic, it will remind you daily about that special someone. It also makes a great gift!

Project Details

I've included two versions, one to hang on the wall and one with a stand for your mantle or table.

  • Measurements: ~13"x6"
  • Resizable? Yes! The wall hanging version can be resized without adjustments needed. The version with the base will require the tab and slot to be adjusted.


Materials I used:

I used Glowforge medium Maple, Walnut, and Cherry Plywood for the word and Glowforge Thick Walnut Plywood for the stand.

If you use different materials or resize, you'll need to adjust the tab at the bottom and the slot. If you'd like to use medium plywood for the stand as well, you could also make the stand two layers.

>> IMPORTANT:
ALL MATERIALS CAN VARY IN THICKNESS FROM BATCH TO BATCH EVEN IF IT'S LABELED THE SAME, so you will need to measure your materials and adjust the slot if needed.
