FILE FORMATS:

  • Ai
  • SVG
  • PDF
  • DXF
  • README PDF

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Letters are ~6.1" tall and vary in width depending on the letter.
  • NOTE: All letters have the same sized tab and will fit the same base.

MATERIALS I USED:

  • I used 1/8" MDF for the letters and 1/4" MDF or 1/4" Clear Acrylic for the bases
  • I used Krylon Spray Paints
  • NOTE: These would be GORGEOUS if made in different acrylics!

BASE SLOT SIZE:

  • The slot is 0.126" tall, so it's made for 1/8" thick material for the letters. You'll want to measure your material and adjust the slot for the fit that you prefer.

BASE TAB HEIGHTS & MATERIAL THICKNESS:

    • At the bottom of each letter there's a tab that fits into the base. I used 1/4" material for my bases that measured 0.226" thick. I like the double base look where one is a bit larger than the other. To that end, I've included two sets of letters. The first set has a tab that is 0.226" long for a single layered base. The second set has a tab that is 0.453" long for a double layered bases.

  • If you'd like to use 1/8" thick material for your bases, you'll need to edit the length of the tabs to accommodate your chosen materials. -OR- if your 1/4" material measures a different length than mine, you'll want to adjust the tabs for that as well.

HOLE SIZES:

  • The circle holes are 0.07 inches in diameter.

OTHER NOTES:

  • If you'd like to resize the letters, you *can*, but you'll need to isolate the holes so they don't change size, make the size changes you want, then put the holes back in place and adjust the tab at the bottom and the slot in the base as well.

In other words, you can do it, but you'll need to be familiar with how things are affected when you do.
