OVERVIEW:

  • This file is made completely of stacked layers - no editing parts to fit together!
  • You can resize it to any size you wish.
  • The height (depth?) of the box (coffin) is determined by how many of the stacking sides you choose to cut.
  • The bats and ghost included can be ignored or cut out to glue on the lid, inside, or even cut out of the bottom for a cool look when the lid is opened. Anything you want!

  • NOTE: The notes included in the file indicate which parts are which! Be sure to watch the video above before cutting.

FILE FORMATS:

  • Ai
  • SVG
  • PDF
  • DXF

MEASUREMENTS:

  •  7.7" x 3.6" x depth is determined by the number of stacking sides you choose to use.
  • You can resize the pieces together to any size you like.

MATERIALS I USED:

  • 1/4" MDF
  • You can use any materials you like.
  • I highly recommend 1/4" to make it as deep as you need with the minimal number of layers. If you use 1/8", you'll need twice as many layers to make a reasonable depth of box.

AMOUNT OF MATERIAL NEEDED:

  • The original file makes a coffin that's approx 1.25" deep when using 1/4" material and 5 layers of stacking sides with a single sheet of 11" x 19" material. You can always cut more stacking sides if you like to increase the depth.

OTHER NOTES:

  • We used Montana 94 Spray Paints and Gorilla Glue Super Glue Gel
