Birthday Calendar

This hanging Birthday Calendar is a fun way to remember when everyone's birthday is! It comes with 3 different shapes that you can engrave first names and numbers on. Then you use jump rings to hang them from the appropriate months. Learn more under the Project Details tab.

MEASUREMENTS:

• 18.9" x 5.4"
• Circles 1.2", Stars 1.3" tall, Hearts 1.18" tall

MATERIALS I USED:

• We used 1/4" Walnut Ply for the main board and 1/4" Maple Ply for the cut out "Celebrate". Then we used 1/8" Cherry Ply for the hanging shapes (pictured)
• We are also making additional sets using 1/8" or 1/4" MDF for the main board and cut out "Celebrate" and 1/8" for the circles, stars, and hearts
• So any materials and thicknesses can be used. Just be sure that your jump rings you use to hang the shapes are large enough to easily go through the main board.
• I used 15mm jump rings from Michael's
• For the MDF, we used Rustoleum Filler Primer and Montana 94 Spray Paints
• Hemp Rope from Hobby Lobby
• Gorilla Glue Super Glue Gel

AMOUNT OF MATERIAL NEEDED: 

• 1 sheet of 11" x 19" material for the entire project
