 OVERVIEW VIDEOS

Here are two quick videos showing how the Name Signs could go together and how to install the Light Switch Covers. The light switch examples of the Baby Bear design, but they all work in a similar way.

The Name Signs are 100% resizable, so you can make them as big as you like! And they come with optional holes in the sign part so you can hang it with ropes if you like.

The Light Switch Covers work well with standard plate covers as seen in the video, but it's possible that the screws in yours may not be long enough. If not, you can get longer ones at your local hardware store.

FILE FORMATS (in 1 ZIP file):

  • Ai
  • SVG
  • PDF
  • DXF
  • README PDF File

MATERIALS I USED:

  • (1) 11"x19" sheet of 1/8" MDF - You can use any material you like, BUT the bottom layer of the Light Switch Cover MUST be thin enough for the screws in your plate to reach through to the threads.

MEASUREMENTS:

  • The Baby Dog Light Switch Cover is 9.4" wide x 9.3" high and are designed to go OVER an existing switch plate cover. See video above.

  • The Baby Dog Name Sign file averages 10" wide x 6.7" high -- BUT you can resize them to anything you like. DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE THE HOLE SIZE IF YOU DECIDE TO HANG USING ROPE. 😎

NOTES:

  • I used Anita's All Purpose Acrylic Craft Paints from Hobby Lobby.
  • I use LocTiteGO2 glue for all of my projects.
  • No text or font files are included
  • The font I used on the signs is an Adobe font called Chinchilla.

TIPS:

  • Give the Baby Animals different expressions by moving the eyes around and placing the pupils in different places to look up, down, sideways, etc.
