There are several pieces in the design that you can consider optional if you simply want to conserve materials. They are pieces like the trim around each panel and the bottom rectangular pieces beneath the lantern itself. The files include a 3D Assembly PDF that shows these *optional* pieces as well.
The wall hangers and stand are also optional, of course.
The monogram in the circle is optional too, but if you'd like to use it, you can either cut the letter out or engrave it for a different look.
