Here's a fun cube-based countdown you can cut on your laser that kids and adults will both enjoy! There are 3 tabs you can switch out on the front, "days", "weeks", and "months". It also comes with these 6 event phrases (and you can always make more):

  • My Birthday!
  • Vacation!
  • Mom Gets Home!
  • Dad Gets Home!
  • Summer!
  • School Starts!

MEASUREMENTS:

  • Cubes: 2.5" square
  • Holder/Stand: 6.25" tall x 6" wide x 3.54" deep
  • Slots are 0.125" (a sample slot is included. CUT THIS FIRST and adjust if needed)

MATERIALS I USED: I made 2 versions --


ALWAYS MEASURE YOUR MATERIAL FIRST AND CUT A SAMPLE SLOT AND ADJUST THE FILE IF NEEDED BEFORE CUTTING THE PROJECT. You may or may not need glue depending on how well you edit the slots for your material.

** HINTS:

  • DELETE ALL TEXT IN THE FILE BEFORE LOADING INTO YOUR LASER SOFTWARE -OR- CHOOSE "IGNORE" WHEN LOADED.
  • A sample slot is included. CUT THIS FIRST and adjust slots if needed
  • When cutting the pieces for the cubes, keep the two sets separated after cutting so that you know which parts go with which cube. That'll make them easier to assemble. The two sets are green and blue respectively.
